MEET LOUISANA SUE

Susan Ramon AKA Louisiana Sue arrived in Sacramento in the late 1980’s with a Crawfish in her mouth, Mardi Gras in her heart and Zydeco in her soul.  Sue is dedicated to creating events sharing Louisiana culture with its food, fun and music for all ages!

Sue is originally from New Orleans, bringing the flavors of the south to the Sacramento area. She is devoted to keeping Zydeco, Cajun, New Orleans style jazz music alive with festivals, Mardi Gras, dances, parties, and a taste of the most popular southern foods, attracting people from Reno to Los Angeles to her Northern California Events.

Sue has appeared on local TV cooking shows highlighting authentic Louisiana Foods. She has tracked the Louisiana “red” crawfish from the rice fields of the Bayou Country to the rice fields of Northern California. She has brought the local media right to the rice fields of Northern California to the boiling pots of her festivals using Louisiana seasoning and people to cook’em up while teaching thousands how to “pinch tails and suck heads.”
